2012/8 policydefinitions - Central Store

Hi all,

If I intend to update the central store with the latest templates for 8/2012.

Can a 2008 R2 server running GPMC still use the updated templates or must you use a Windows 8 client or Windows 2012 server to take advantage of the latest GPO admin templates?
