I am using the policy below to deny access to removable media on a Windows 2008 R2 Terminal server as described in the Microsoft article.
All Removable Storage classes: Deny all access

The policy is applied via the User policy, the Computer policy is empty.
The problem is that the policy does not take effect.
RSOP and GPResult confirm that the policy is applied correctly but it does not work.
All users still have access to DVD on the server.
Tried to apply this policy via local GPO and didn't work either. Tried to apply it on Windows 2008 non R2, no success.
Tried to apply on a physical and virtual servers without success.
However the same policy works correctly on a Windows 7 computer.
How can I get it work on Windows 2008 R2?
Is there any differences in this policy between Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2?
