Non-Windows Applications Update Automatically Without Admin Credentials, HOW TO??

Hello,

I'm deploying new computers (60) to all users, Windows 7. The previous admin allowed all users local admin rights. Of course I’m changing this so users are standard users without admin previliages. I'm using Active Directory - Windows Server 2008 SP2

What is the best way to deploy these Windows 7 machine so they have (or obtain) all the necessary "extras" (java, flash, etc) and those extras will auto update without prompting the user for admin credentials?

We don't have SMS / CM to manage “extras” (adobe, java, flash etc)

How to I install software for users in a manner that allows updates of “extras” to happen without ADMIN credentials?

  1. Create an image (ghost) and install all “extras” as an admin and then put that image on all computers before deploying them?
  2. Push all “extras” via group policy?

Keep in mind I want the “extras” to install updates when they’re available, so I don’t have to keep pushing updates with GP.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
