Group Policy Preferences - Registry Collection Targeting

Hi, 

I'm hoping someone can clarify the targeting of multiple reg settings withing a collection.

I have a collection that enters reg entries enabling the Japanese IME and language pack. It works fine.

I have set the item level targeting on the "language Bar B39 Laptops" but nothing else underneath (see pic).

My Question is, do I have to set the item level targeting on all reg entries below individually, or does the item level targeting propagate to sub entries?

There is no visible item level targeting entries on the below items. If I have to set them all, is there a way to inherit the root collection targeting?
