I have a bit of a strange one, I have a GPO set up to deploy a specific wallpaper to users in a particular OU.
I only have two settings enabled, "Desktop Wallpaper" and "Prohibit Changes", the desktop wallpaper is being fetched from the sites local file server rather than having the wallpaper dragged across the WAN.
My problem is simply this, in XP users are greeted with the active desktop recovery screen but are unable to do anything, and in 7 the desktop is black!
Normally i would go back and try to fix this problem however when the user logs on you see the correct wallpaper until the desktop appears!?
I am really stumped on this, although not a major task for me to tackle it is just really bugging me now!
