Does changing the actual Logon Script file require and GPUpdate?

I have a powershell script that I have set in User Configuration - Policies - Windows Settings - Scripts - Logon and the PS1 file is located on the DC.

I have all PC's currently using this script just fine.

My question is, if I make a change to the PS1 file itself do I need to run a GPUpdate for the PC's to see the changes right away? Is the PS1 cached somewhere on the PC or does it read from the DC location each time it runs?
