Here is the scenario. We have a branch office location where it is taking several minutes to logon to the network. I have turned on verbose messages and have found that "applying group policy drive maps policy" is the main culprit (takes at
least 5 minutes to complete). This site is connected via a 1024K MPLS WAN link. The domain controllers are located at headquarters, so all requests have to come across the WAN. I have double-checked TCP/IP configuration, DNS, etc. and all appear
to be OK. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, where did you look for the solution?
