I have a simple file redirection set up for the "my documents" folder.  The folder was originally set to a 2003 sever.  Recently we decided to change that and redirect the folder to a new 2008 server.  The path was changed in the gpo from \\serverA\home\ to \\serverB\home

The ORIGINAL redirection setting used:

Basic - redirect everyo's folder to the same location

Thus the end result was "\\serverA\home\username\my documents"

Also, originally "move the contents of My Documents of the new location" was selected.

the "grant the user exclusive rights to my documents" was also selected.

CURRENT settings

Basic - redirect everyon's folder to the same location

Thus the end result was "\\serverB\home\username\my documents"

The "move the contents of My Documents of the new location" is not selected.

The grant the user exclusive rights to my documents is not selected.

Getting event log error 502:

Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "Documents" to \\serverB\home\myusername.

 Redirection options=0x9020.

The following error occurred: "Failed to redirect because the destination directory "\\serverB\home\myusername" is offline".

Error details: "The network path was not found.

I have checked the permissions on the share and all seem well.  I can successfully browse from the client machine to the share and create/delete files.

Thanks for your help.
