Just a little information before I ask my question. I work as a network admin and have many quite a few group policies running within our network. All policies are working fine except for the one;
VBA Macro Notification Settings
I know it's not recommended to enable all macros, however, when I set this policy run a gpupdate /force on my PC or anyone else's PC the security options setting does not ever change. It's like it doesn't modify the MS Excel Security settings at all. I can add it as a trusted location and it will run, but the Macro Warning still shows up when you load the file.
Like I mentioned, the "Trust Center" Settings for the Macros never changes. If the policy ran, that setting would not even be available to modify by the user. I've modified the group policy on MS Office 2010, 2013, and 2016 and none of them are taking this.
Our Active Directory/Group Policy is on a Server2008R2 with the updated group policies for all the MS Office product's.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
