Is there a GPO setting that can be enabled that automatically deletes the recycle bin contents based on an event such as on every logoff or after the files have been in the recycle bin past a time limit?
The only recycle bin related GPO settings I can find are "Maximum allowed recycle bin size" and "Do not move deleted files to the Recycle Bin." We also plan to add a recycle bin size limit of 25mb, but for that to have any effect, all the existing oversized recycle bins will need to be emptied first. I don't think it will reduce the size of an already existing 2GB recycle bin. Also, if the bins are regularly emptied, the size restriction becomes less important and the allowed size could be increased.
When the local workstation recycle bin is emptied does it also empty redirected recycle bins?
