Exempting Users from Computer Policy (Printer Mapping)

Hello,

Currently we have two terminal servers in Australia.

I want to disable printer mapping through Group Policy, as I'd like only specific users to be able to map their printers.

I have created a group specifically for these users and created a Group Policy Object that denies printer mapping, then denied this group of users the ability to apply the GPO.

The scope is applying to the two terminal servers as well as the group "Authenticated Users".

I have found that nobody is able to map printers, not even my group that should be exempted from this GPO.

The policy that I have applied only sets Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Terminal Server\Printer Redirection to enable "Do not allow client printer redirection".

I suspect that the issue is that I am applying a computer configuration, then attempting to alter the settings based on users. However, I have not been able to find an equivalent setting under user configuration.

Is there some other setting regarding printer mapping in Windows Server 2008 that I have overlooked? Thanks.
