Hello,
I have a problem with Folder Redirection not being applied through our group policies.
This happens on Windows 2008 R2 in a RDS session but also on Windows 7 Pro machines.
The RSOP tool and GPResult both give an error.
RSOP gives an exlamation mark on the part of user configuration (See Printscreen)
The GPResult gives an error folder redirection failed cannot complete this function. (See Printscreen 2).
In the eventvwr the following error is shown:
ID 502
Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "Desktop" to "\\winserver\Folder Redirection\Administrator\Desktop".
Redirection options=0x1211.
The following error occurred: "Failed to build the list of regular subfolders under "\\WINCLIENT\Folder Redirection\Administrator\Desktop"".
Error details: "The network name cannot be found.
The user has full access permission on the share and in NTFS.
I even made the user administrator on the machines on which the user logs on.
I'm running out of options so I hope that someone can help me.
Regards,
Ron
