Hi everyone!
I have a problem in my Windows environment. As the topic says reverse lookup -records doesn't update. Clients get IP from DHCP and when they get IP for a first time, reverse lookup-records is made correctly. But when client get another IP, the reverse lookup -record doesn't update.
The solution I found is to add selection to Use this connection's DNS suffix in DNS registeration in network card properties.
The problems is to set that setting to all desktopclients in our environment running Windows 7 and XP. The amount of computers is too high to go to set it manually. I tried to find group policy setting to do that but no luck (AD is 2008 R2).
Do you have any ideas how to solve the problem?
