Our domain environment is having issues with Windows 10 apps breaking once a PC is put on the domain. The apps either crash immediately upon opening, don't respond at all, or give some sort of connection error. The PCs work fine prior to being put on our domain. Most of the apps seem to be in UWP format. Also, the start menu/cortana search doesn't work...you can type something in but it will find nothing.
Some of the affected apps:
Microsoft Edge (immediately crashes)
Calendar (opens and crashes within seconds)
Paint 3d (immediately crashes)
Microsoft Store (connection error)
Adobe XD (connection error)
The Start Menu search does work
Search/Cortana (no results will be found)
There are no issues with most other apps (i.e Office, Browsers, etc)...in fact most users haven't even complained or even noticed of the issue even though it's affecting dozens.
Any ideas what could be causing this sort of behavior? I do not see the MSoft Store or NTP entries configured/blocked in GPO. Win7 users are not having any issues - but all the apps affected seem to be Win10 only. Have disabled all AV and
firewall to no effect. Have run sfc scan.
Would appreciate any guidance. Thank you.
