Hi everybody,
I had an issue with my 'deployed from GPO' VPN connection : unable to have the credential pop-up when using the network tray, on some hosts.
I found a workaround, which consist in changing the value of HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/Control Panel/Settings/Network/ReplaceVan by 2.
But to do so I have to set myself as owner of "Network" collection.
Ofc, i'd like to apply this change for all my vpn user, by GPO, but i can't, since it doesn't apply the change on this particular key because of rights.
Since i'm new on admin world, I'd like to know what i should go for. In my research I heard about remote registry. I didn't read alot about it , but I suppose it may be an idea? Maybe it would work but not appropriate ? Maybe is there another workaround for my original issue ?
