Default location for OST files GPO, what happens when you change it

We're migrating to Windows7 and converting everyone from roaming to local profiles in the process.

I'm currently using User Config/Admin templates/Microsoft Office Outlook 2007/Miscellaneous/PST Settings/Default location for OST files, having that Enabled then set to a path.

What I want to do is eliminate this policy, so the OST file will go back to their default location inside users' profiles (since they will no longer be roaming this won't add the overhead of copying a large OST every time they log on).

My question is, is if I set this policy back to Not Configured, this will only apply to anyone who gets their Outlook profile redone (or gets a brand new local profile altogether, which in turn would give them a new Outlook profile), correct?   I want to make sure that changing this policy to Not Configured won't instantly make all my users (some still on roaming profiles) have their OST go back to the default location.
