Powershell command can't retrieve SID of GPO owner in another forest

Here is the wierd thing: GPMC can retreive the owner 

But in powershell, the properties of the GPO for the Owner SID is empty. 

Why can GPMC retreive the Owner SID but powershell can't? 

There is an external trust between the 2 forest.
