Deploy Visio 2007 Via GPO

Hey all,

This is starting to drive me crazy, for the past couple weeks, I've been trying to deploy Visio 2007 thorugh GPO, I keep getting error 1603 in my system log files, I keep tracking it down to a Error 25004 in my MSI#### under %windir%\Temp which tells me invalid attribute to the PATH attriubte, everytime i run the MSI either directly by UNC link or using msiexec to UNC link it keeps telling me Error 1713 that it cant install one of the required products for Visio 07... Googling shows that it is by design that you cant install Visio by the MSI (Why did they even include one with the source files) anyway and says to use the EXE file, which works but GPOs don't use EXE and only can deploy MSI files..... AHHHHHH

Noted from here : itninja.com/software/microsoft/office-visio-professional/12-782

As noted by locoblase, that the MSI can't be run via the MSI giving Error 1712 as noted above but can be run by adding LAUNCHEDBYSETUPEXE=1 and this works fine, I am able to run the msi via msiexec.exe with the /qb argument to show the status bar and it install successfully, I could also install fine via setup.exe

What are the step by step procedure on doing this? i have deployed other MSI's just fine, but I have never had more issues then when deploying Visio 07?

Also noted by LocoBlade that it should be able to run via GPO as theres something in the MSI to let it run when being deployed via GPO... so why do I keep getting error 1603 in my setup log?? Think I may have a bad source files (I find hard to belive considering they install fine via setup.exe or msi with provided arguments.
