How to use new options of a GPO from a newer windows version?

Hi,

I have a domain (Windows 2008 R2).

I have been using GPOs since the time of (Windows 2003) that was migrated to (Windows 2008 R2).

For me to use the new GPO options for Windows 10, after migrating my domain controllers to (Windows 2019) will it be possible to create new GPOs with these new options?

Can existing GPOs be converted to use these new options?

Or do I need to increase the forest level to use the new options?

Or will I need to import ADMx into new GPOs or will I need to import ADMx into old GPOs?
