Hi,
I have 2 Problems with the Slow link Detection GPO. I've set both user and computer Slow Link Gpo at a bandwith treshold of 2000kbps
GpLogview says that there was a Slow Link detected with about 250kbps and the treshold is at 2000kbps, so i think the Slow Link is recognized. The Reg Key "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Group Policy\History\IsSlowLink" is true, too. Allow processing across slow network connection is disabled for both Folder Redirection and Scripts
1. For normal (fast)link I have a Folder Redirection for the My Documents, now I want that this Folder Redirection is disabled on a Slow Link, meaning the MyDocuments should point to the Local MyDocuments of the user. In GPlog i can't find any folder Redirection while on a slow Link. But The Folders are even Redirected to the Server Share. If i disable the Folder Redirection Gpo, the Folder Redirection points to the Local My Documents, which should be so even on Slow Link. Anyone an idea how to configure to get this behaviour?
2. On Slow Link my LogonScript assigned by GPO shouldn't run. But on every Logon the logonscript get executed regardless if there is a Slow Link or not. In GPLog I see that the Script extension is applied on Slow Link, too. Like said above, Allow processing across slow netwok is disabled and a Slow Link is recognized.
With this two GPO things I want my Laptops like a real offline behaviour, so they dont talk to any Server automatically on a Slow Link. Anyone other Suggestion to realize this?
