DCs = Server 2008 R2's
Client I've tried this on: Windows 8
I have a GPO where I enable "Allow inbound file and print sharing exception" and "Allow inbound remote administration exception" to a scope of a few ipv4 addresses. Everything works great that way, however, if I add an ipv6 address to those group policies, those firewall rules that gets generated by group policy get disabled on the client side. If I remove the ipv6 from the group policies, everything works great again.
Is this expected behavior? I can't find much out there on the Internets about this issue. In an old technet article I found this (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc787076(v=ws.10).aspx):
"Custom list, which restricts the exception to a list of Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) addresses or IPv4 address ranges. You cannot use the Custom list option for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) traffic."
