I've been hitting my head against the desk/coffee table/bed.... all weekend, so I think I need some help.
We have a new AD deployment, we have a few GPO's and all of them are doing the same thing, so i'll focus on one for troubleshooting sake.
The policy is making a security group part of the local admins on workstations along with a local account(requested by client). I have many deployments with this setup. but for some reason any of the gpos are applying to the workstations.
Group Policy modeling wizard and the results show the gpo as applied. GPResult on the computer itself also shows as gpo applied, but the settings are just not taking effect.
I'm out of ideas, they were working before. There are a couple more admins on this server, but are not available at the moment. so its up to me.
I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions. i'll post a few more details in a bit, but lets get started.. thanks!
