RPC\WMI question. Exception from Hresult: 0X8000706BA

Hi there,

I'm currently having a small problem with the RPC service, however unlike other questions I've seen here, which tend to be an all is working or none is working, my questions sits very much in the middle!

I'm in the middle of deploying a endpoint security module for all laptopsA\desktops within our domain. All the boxes have  the same base image applied to them and amy addtional software added as required.

The problem is thus; I have pushed out the endpoint software to 494 machines, via a GPO within AD. Out of the 494 machines where the software has installed and a policy has been applied sucesssfully, I have found that there remains 56 machines, where the software has installed sucessfully, but I am unable to apply any kind of policy from the endpoint maangement console. Each of the 56 boxes returns the same RPC error message;

"The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from Hresult: 0X8000706BA)". We do not use the Windows firewall on desktops\laptops, but I have created appropriate firewall rules on our domain firewall. Every other machine has the RPC and WMI services running, but I just can;t figure out how to get these last few boxes to start running this service. It's not like I can physcially do it as that is geographically impossible.  

I would very much appreicate any help\tips\guidance on how to resolve the above issue as I am seemingly out of ideas and at the limit of what i know about the WMI\RPC services to make any headway.
