Branch site Computers not updating Directory Location

I have many branch sites located accross an MPLS network that have T-1 speed.  I'm moving systems to a new OU structure for a migration project.  When I move these remote systems to the new structure, they do not pick up the correct OU location when performing a Group Policy refresh cycle for either the Computer object or the User object so the old GPOs still apply.

In the Operational GroupPolicy log, the faulty computers show the wrong OU when they go through the steps of making a system call to get account information and returns the incorrect Account details as well when it says that it's querying the Domain Controller.  I checked evry domain controller and they all have the correct object location.

All remote systems are in the same Active Directory Site as the local network

If we reboot the problem machine it picks up the new structure and GPOs correctly.

On my local network, this does not happen, the first time a machine does a refresh on my local network, it picks up the new structure and GPOs.

Could there be something wrong with the Global Catalog?
