I'm having difficulty applying the Google App sync msi from GPO. I have applied other applications using the software installation deployment under computer computer configuration successfully. The security filtering is authenticated users and the folder share permission also have authenticated users with read & execute permission. I've tried to enabled the logging within the same GPO (Computer config > admin template > Windows component > windows installer > Logging enabled with values iweapv) but I couldn't see the logs under the %temp% folder.
In the client's event log, I receive the same error which is Application management group policy event id 102 and 108. It's weird because the other MSI applied correctly such as chrome, skype, flash etc. All of my deployed software are under the same public share with authenticated users included with read & exec permissions.
When I run gpresult, under component status, it says "Fatal error during installation". Any ideas to further troubleshoot this issue? Thanks!
