Hi Team,
Server : Windows server 2008 R2
Scenario:
1.I have a wallpaper configured in root level and its is not enforced.
2.Secondly, in one of the OU under root i need to configure separate wallpaper policy, so i have blocked the inheritance and configured a Wallpaper GPO.
3.I have verified the GPO inheritance GPO for the OU and confirmed inheritance has bee blocked.
But, in the users side i am seeing the root level policy is getting applied not OU one!
Questions:
How come root level policy is getting applied, after blocking the inheritance in OU level?
In GPMC, policy is not inheriting from the root level and its fine. But when i run the rsop on client and goto properties of the user policy, i am seeing the root level policy is getting applied. Please help.
Why root level is taking precedence after blocking the inheritance.
