Hello,I would like toconfigure accessto the remote desktopof
computers belongingto the corporate domainvia
group policy.
I would givehimaccessto a groupof users.TheDC is awindows server2008 R2 Enterprise,thetest clientsarewindows 7pro.
I have found manyarticles andsettherelated GPO, butI don't getaccess toany of the domain testing clients.
The causeis undoubtedlythe flag "Allow connectionsfrom computers runningany version ofRemote Desktop(less secure)"flagwhich is locatedineachlocalpc -onthe Control Panel-System-Remote Connection-Remote Desktop section.
I'm surebecause ifthis flag isactivewithout affectingthe settingssetvia GPO,I can getaccess via rdp to clients.
What I can notgetis to be able to set"that tricky flag"via GPOon any of the domain clients, soI can not geta full GPO automated scenario.
I putherethe settingsset
via GPO, there aresome thatprobablyare not strictly necessary, in the sense
thatturning them offwould getthe samepurposesmentioned above (apart from the "evilflag"that I can notremotely activate)
In theGPOI havealso enabledthe service to startRemote Desktop(TermService)on the PCsin the domain but actually, this settingis not appliedon the clients.I solved itbya login script passed viagpo, in case of interest I could be paste here the commands.
Thanks in advance for any useful help, hereafter reportof theGPO:
