Controlling USB Devices

Hello,

I need some help with controlling USB devices using Group Policy Management in Server 2012. The Workstations are Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

Computer Configuration->Policies->Administrative Templates->System->Device Installation Restrictions

I have the following enabled.

Allow administrators to override Device Installation Restriction policies

USBSTOR\DiskMUSHKIN_MKNUFDVS64GB____PMAP

USBSTOR\DiskMUSHKIN_MKNUFDVP32GB____PMAP

USBSTOR\DiskMUSHKIN_MKNUFDVT32GB____PMAP

USB\VID_0830&PID_0001&REV_0100

USBSTOR\DiskUSB2.0__Flash_Disk______2.60

USBSTOR\DiskBest_BuyGeek_Squad______8.01

HID\VID_03F0&PID_0024&REV_0130

HID\VID_0461&PID_4D20&REV_0200

Display a custom message when installation is prevented by a policy setting

Allow installation of devices that match any of these device ids

Prevent installation of devices not described by other policy settings

I have tried just adding DiskMUSHKIN_MKNUFDVS64GB____PMAP without the USBSTOR. It still blocks installation of the driver and says my custom message.

How can I get group policy to allow just a handful of (these) devices?

Thanks,

Wes
