I am seeing an intermittent application of some setting in GPO.
Environment:
- Terminal Server in OU "TS"
- GPO "TS Users" linked to OU "TS" and has Loop-back Enabled (in Replace Mode)
- GPO "TS Users" has the following setting enabled: User Configuration\Preferences\Windows Settings\Registry\HKCU registry Key for an Excel plugin called Hyperion. This registry setting is Targeted to the Group, i.e. if the user is a member of some particular group he gets this Registry Key applied, if he is not member of some particular group, the registry setting is not applied.
This work intermittently, sometimes plugin appears in Excel sometime does not, or for some users work for some does not (even if the users are the members of the required group).
Did you guys ever see such weird behavior? Anything I can do to find out why does it work intermittently?
