We have a GPO that sets users home page in Internet Explorer. It works, but when the user logs on to a PC for the first time or gets a new Windows profile on their existing PC, the home page specified in the GPO is not set.
We either have to run gpupdate /force and then relaunch IE or else have the user log off and log back on before the home page is set (they have folder redirection and other user settings applied, just no home page).
Other user settings do take effect at first log on. What can we do to eliminate the need for for the user to do two log ins before the home page the GPO specified is set?
