We have UMTS sticks(Universal Mobile Telecommunications System, e.g. cellular modems).
We use SCCM 2007 to distribute software updates to our Lan users, but also users connected through SSL\VPN. I don't want users who uses a UMTS stick to get those updates, to minimize the cost.
I am going through the devices and services in group policy preferences.
What I want to accomplish is, when the UMTS stick is plugged in, and detected by, for example, Vendor ID, stop de SCCM service.
When the stick is unplugged, start the SCCM service. I tried to find something in the item-level targeting option to configure this.
Is it possible to make such a GPO..
