Mapped drives are disabled after a timeout on inactivity.
I would like to know if this can be fixed without individual registry edits. Is there a Group Policy setting to keep certain mapped connections alive, regardless of activity.
Also, if we do keep these connections open, is it really slowing down network speeds, or server performance to a notable level? If there is no activity (by definition) isn't this implying there is not a significant amount of resources being consumed?
Thank you!
