Windows 7 Start Menu Redirection is Empty

Hi Everyone - we are a secondary school in the UK and  I am still not having success with Windows 7 Start Menu Redirection ! on Windows 7 Professional clients.

We run Windows 2008 r2 Servers abeilt running Windows 2003 functional level, we have majority of Windows XP clients all working fine. Have recently been testing Windows 7 for a proposed rollout this August. Our shared Start Menu is

\\server\students\start

and within there is a Programs folder and within that our startmenu items.

However when a students logs on it brings up {empty} when you click on All Programs !  I then check the Event Viewer and it tells me the all Folder redirections are good

Successfully applied policy and redirected "Programs" to \\poseidon\students\start\programs  Redirection options = 0x80001000

but I also get

Successfully applied policy and redirected "Start Menu" to "\\poseidon\students\start"  Redirection options = 0x80001000

on the next line. Is the right ?

But no matter what I try I still get up Empty for my redirected Start Menu

I have got start menu redirection working on a seperate server with Windows 7 but within school it having none of it.

If anyone has got any further thoughts or pointers I would be very grateful !

Many thanks

Kevin
