I have recently been working in part of a team to set up a new Network in a school using Server2012 and Win7. We have ~500 machines and 1000 users.
All has gone well apart from a few users complaining of files they have saved not appearing when they move to a different workstation. I spent some time looking into it and found that Offline files has not been properly disabled. Here is a screenshot of my GPO applying to all machines:
After reading this guide it seems I need to do a little bit more to get it properly turned off.
But I have many users who have worked on many different workstations and I can't lose risk losing all of their offline files - I don't even know how many people have this problem.
Does anyone have a solution for me so I can save these offline files or a way of getting them into their homefolder.
Any help would be much appreciated!!
