We have a single 2008R2 DC pushing policy for redirected folders. The storage at the path that policy pointed to failed and could not be recovered. We decided to scrap the domain accounts using this policy and start from scratch with new domain accounts, a new share, and a new policy. We've forced updates of the policy. I've given full control to hte account in question over the share.
On the clients, the policy is being applied in GPRESULT, but is failing with an event 1085 and error code 1003. A dialog comes up stating that the new profile cannot access \\old-path-server\share\old account name\ and no new folder is created on the share for the profile.
I can't figure out where the client is getting the instruction to redirect to a path for another profile that no longer exists, that was defined in a policy object that no longer exists. This occurs on first login and all subsequent logins of a brand new domain account.
