Folder Redirection over Slow Link GPO

Hi there, 2 questions:

1) Anyone has experience with Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 7 clients running Folder Redirection over a slow link (~400-450 kbps)?

2) I've enabled Folder Redirection through a GPO and I've activated the option to force FR to be applied even over a slow link (Computer Settings / Admin Templates / System / Folder Redirection / ). However, when running the modeling wizard to see the RSOP, the user setting which contains the FR configuration is not being applied. If I remove the slow link simulation in the modeling, it does get applied. Any idea?
