We have a Windows Server 2008 R2, and are attempting to apply a shortcut policy. We have created an OU, within the OU are the computers for our customer service staff, and then we have created a security group with all of the customer service staff, being a member of that security group. So that one OU contains about 10 machines, and the customer service security group. We linked the OU to the shortcut group policy, and set the customer service security group as the security filter. We also tried linking the policy to the OU, and leaving Authenticated Users as the filter. None of those work. The policy is set to only affect the user configuration. What are we doing wrong? Do we have to move each customer service user to the OU individually and create the security filter. We are trying to prevent taking the users out of the User container in ADU & C.
