We have a Citrix environment on Windows Sever 2008 R2. The requirement is not to allow users to save on local drives, but in the shared folder on a different server. We DO NOT have the option of domain GPOs, so I used a local GPO (for non-administrators) on the citrix servers. So I did:
1. Restricted all local drives.
2. Created a shared folder on a remote machine.
3. Enabled User Config\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer\Common Open File Dialog\Items displayed in Places Bar and added the network share as item 1.
But the drive is still not showing up and users are unable to save their work anywhere now.
Could you please direct me to the next step.
