I have a VDI environment and most of these are non-persistent Win7 machines. Wanted to know how I can use GPO so that I can have various settings within Word,Excel (office2010 Product) follow them from machine to machine. Examples would be say office templates, normal.dot, etc etc.. Also is there a way to have specific application file from the local OS Drive of the win7 machine follow them when they log-on and get a different machine. I figure I can use Folder-Redirection for this but not sure about the Office settings as office admx templates doesn't have any specific settings related to what I'm looking for.
Or if there are any best practice gpo settings outside of the normal desktop settings.
Any suggestions would be appreciated...
