Just have a question about applying GPO's to Windows 8.1 Enterprise PC's. We have Windows server 2008 R2 DC's in our environment, so if we want to use the new policy definitions for Windows 8.1 Enterprise, we have to download them and put them in the Central store on the Windows 2008 R2 DC server, will this be enough ? Or we have to Extend the schema of our Active directory to Windows 2012 R2 first by adding 2012 R2 DC to our Active Directory.
In otherwords what are the requirements for appying the new Windows 8.1 policy definitions in our Windows 2008 R2 environment ?
