I recently took over software deployments via GPO @ the firm where I work. Initially I was added to Domain Admins and Group Policy Creator Owners group and that gave me access to everything I needed to deploy software and access all necessary settings in GPO. Eventually my SysAdmin removed my Domain Admin rights, and at that point while at the surface still looking like I had identical rights/priveleges, certain items we're off.
For instance, while I was a member of doman admins, and editing a specific policy, within Computer Configuration > Policies > Software Settings > Software installation - I saw all the packages that we have deployed assigned or not in that specific policy.
Once my SysAdmin removed my Domain Admin rights and left me as Group Policy Creator Owner member navigating to that same software installation list has certain items missing, as if I do not have the necessary rights to see all of the packages deployed.
Group Policy Creator Owners has Full Control on this policy.
Group Policy Creator Owners has 'Link GPOs' set to 'Allow' settings on 'This container and all child containers' on the main domain within GPM.
What am I missing?
