I want to do a user access control in my 2008r2 domain environment. This basically will be setting up role based access control for users like developers, regular users, supports guys apart from administrators.
What I was planning is that to create an OU and apply relevant group policies to it and then add required users to it. Though I created OUs and while applying group policies not able to finalise what all setting should added/enabled in GPO. For example sya that a developer need to have access/rights to install software on machines but no system level admin tasks, the regular Users should have rights to install printers and printer drivers etc.
Hope I have able to put my question clearly and will get a suitable reply from experts.
