Win2k3 GPO - loopback question

Hi All;

Win2K3 AD domain.  We have a classroom with a dozen XP SP3 workstations that doubles as a testing facility at the end of the courses.  For the class part, students use their own accounts, and for the testing part, they all log back in with a single generic user account with both User/Computer GPO restrictions, such as removing access to drives and apps like wordpad,... blah, blah, etc.

I want all OTHER users to be able to log into these workstations and not be affected by the the generic user account GPO restrictions.   I have a populated workstation OU, a populated user OU, and a new OU for this function(?).  Not sure where to place the generic user and 12 workstations, or if and how I would use loopback processing in this case.      Can anyone walk me through the steps for this?

Thanks.

G
