Folder Redirection has stopped working!!!!

Hi,

I have an issue whereby folder redirection for user's Desktops and Documents folders using Vista or Windows 7 users has stopped working, XP users are unaffected....

We have one 2003 DC & the rest are 2008 R2 DC's; Our Domain & Forest is running at 2003 level.

This happens for both new users and current users who log onto a different machine who already have their folders created for example.

Folder redirection had been working for a considerable amount of time without issue up until a few weeks ago whereby it mysteriously stopped working for affected users for no reason at all.

As far as I can see there are no other GPO's affecting my folder redirection GPO and the setting to enable computers to wait for the network is enabled and in its own GPO.

All users have the relevant folder NTFS permissions inorder to create/access the relevant folders.

If I run gpupdate /force /boot there is no change.

If I run gpresult and output it to a html file, folder redirection doesn't even show up in the report.

Event logs on the W7 machine state that "Folder redirection was unable to apply until next login as changes must be processed before system start up and logon" - Event ID 1112. But even after a restart (many restarts) the GPO still doesnt take effect.

I've tried creating a new GPO for redirection and that doesn't work either...

Other GPO's are working and appear in rsop.msc but nothing for folder redirection.

Does anyone have any ideas?
