I have built a new Windows 2008 server R2 Standard and configured it as a DC. When running the BPA I get the following error which I cannot resolve:
Issue:
The Default Domain Controllers Policy is not currently applied to the OU OU=Domain Controllers,DC=WRIGHT.
Impact:
If Group Policy settings that are defined in the Default Domain Controllers Policy are not applied to domain controllers, Active Directory operations may fail.
Resolution:
Link the Default Domain Controllers Policy to the OU OU=Domain Controllers,DC=WRIGHT
The Default Domain Controllers Policy is linked to the Domain Controllers OU. I have dun dcdiag and the only failure is NCSecDesc but I dont plan to add an RODC to the forest. When I run RSOP I can see the Domain Controller Policy has been applied.
Is there something I can do to clear this error message?
