When trying to upgrade existing client software we get the following error:
Error 1926 Could not set file security for file \\networkpath\folderredirectionshare$\username\Appdata\Appname\. Error 0. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to modify the security permissions for this file.
We keep getting this error when trying to upgrade a key piece of software. Windows 7 or Windows 8. The funny thing is, this only occurs to users with folder redirection. Users with roaming profiles can install without issue.
I have confirmed the user has full access to the share, as does SYSTEM.
If we run the install as domain admin it works without a problem, however, I don't want to have to run around our entire organization to do so.
Any advice on how to get this working would be greatly helpful.
Thanks!
