hi all, I have quite a few posts open at the moment as I am really trying to remove tight vnc from my network.
Iv tried removing reg keys with gpo prefs, iv tried stopping the tight vnc services, iv tried rd command to remove the program files non of which are giving me the results I want.
However . . .I have found an uninstall.exe file in the installation directory on a client machine, when I run uninstall.exe the only prompt is to enter where to remove tightvnc from. I then click next and it removes perfectly!!
Is there a way to use group policy to deploy this uninstall.exe and also pass the path as required? I understand msi is the way to push out software but I was just wondering and hoping to be able to deploy this uninstall.exe and all my problems will be solved :)
