Folder Redirection & Windows 8.1 using SSD Drive

I have Folder Redirection working on hundreds of computers using DFS.  It has been going well.  However, we recently deployed two Windows 8.1 machines to kick the tires on the OS.  The machines have SSD's for booting, so they boot very quickly. We login and only the one drive is there that is the home directory.  I logoff, wait about a minute and login again and bingo they are all there.  So I did that little check mark on Group Policy to wait for it to finish completing before login, but no luck.  The event warning I get is as follows:

The user 'W:' preference item in the 'Network Administrators {A8B731EA-F80D-4501-A790-2D0770AFD7A8}' Group Policy Object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070035 The network path was not found.' This error was suppressed.

Any thoughts?
