Hello all!
I have deployed several printers to a particular OU within our domain. These printers are local TCP/IP printers. The recipient workstations are all Windows XP SP2. I have deployed the GPP Client Side extensions to these workstations. The printers have all been installed on the workstations via GPP successfully and the domain is printing to these printers for two weeks now. I have the need to change the IP addressing scheme of our printers. I have changed the IP address of several printers and I have changed the ip address under the GPP setting for those printers. The GPP setting is set to update.
The new TCP/IP port does successfully get installed on the client workstations, however the existing printer's port that was previously installed via GPP does not get changed to the new IP address. I have done gpupdate, gpupdate /force, and a reboot of several machines trying to get the existing GPP printer to redirect to the new TCP/IP port. No luck.
Any Ideas?
Thanks so much for your help!
