Windows 7 Offline Files "Files not cached" PST

I am having some trouble with data loss, offline files tends to kill our archive.pst files for some users. I found "Files not cached" GPO and applied it, Sync Center still complaining about archive.pst files. Is it that there is another hack to get error suppression off for "Files not cached"? Also, I am having issues reinitializing the CSC, I follow the procedure and reboot, but there are still old computers linked in there (legacy shares). Our production server is prod.intranet.local, our folder redirection was pointing to \\prod\sharename\username and I thought it would be wise to point to FQDN \\prod1.intranet.local\sharename\username, well I was wrong, because now offline files was treating \\prod and \\prod.intranet.local like 2 different offline files folders......so confused (I believe this is why offline files were messing up archives as it really never saw the network share it seems, could be wrong). Please advise, still doing some research on offline files but would really like some advice, I must be doing something wrong. BTW Windows 2k3 Server with mostly Win7 clients, several XP.

Thanks!
